This has become my new favourite juice. It’s particularly good after a delicious, yet highly acidic, Christmas feast and has a cooling effect on the over-worked digestive system. This recipe makes enough juice for 2 people.
4 granny smith apples
5 sticks of celery
1 large Lebanese cucumber
1 teaspoon sized chunk of ginger (root)
1/2 a lemon, juiced
1. Juice all the ingredients except the lemon.
2. Squeeze the lemon separately and stir into juice.
3. Drink slowly and mindfully before breakfast.
